Vita-Pakt’s Blood Oranges
The blood orange is a variety of orange with crimson, almost blood-colored flesh. The distinctive dark flesh color is due to the presence of anthocyanins, family of polyphenol pigments common to many flowers and fruits, but uncommon in citrus fruits. Our blood oranges come from the agricultural areas of California. We offer many different products made with this commodity, such as blood orange concentrate juice, blood orange dried peels, and blood orange oil.
Blood Orange Peels (Dry)
Vita-Pakt blood orange peels are produced under the most rigorous guidelines to assure our customer base that the blood orange’s value is not lost through drying and processing. Our dried blood orange products come in the form of peels offered in a granule cut and in a select grade. Our blood orange peels are obtained from clean, sound, mature blood oranges that are washed, the juice extracted, cut, dried, and sifted.
