Vita-Pakt’s primary varieties of orange from California are Navel and Valencia.

Navel: California Navel oranges are considered by many to be the best oranges in the world for eating fresh; they have a meaty flesh, thick rinds that are easy to peel, segments that separate easily, and they have no seeds. All navel oranges have a navel at the blossom end - an opening with a convoluted interior that looks, like a navel or belly-button.

Valencia: The Valencia orange is a sweet orange like the Navel. It was first made as a hybrid by an American agronomist, William Wolfskill in the mid-19th century. Primarily grown for processing and orange juice production, Valencia oranges have seeds, varying in number from zero to nine per fruit. Its excellent taste and internal color make it desirable for the fresh fruit markets as well but is not quite as popular as the Navel variety.

Orange Oil

Vita-Pakt orange oil is extracted from the peel of fresh oranges. Raw orange oil is cold pressed and polished, reasonably free from foreign material and ready for use. The color ranges from orange yellow to light reddish orange.
