Vita-Pakt's Lemons
The lemon is a citrus fruit that is botanically a many-seeded yellow oblong berry. It is a hybrid of a citron and a lime and is produced by a small thorny evergreen tree. It has a rind that contains an aromatic oil and a juice that is high in citric acid. The fruit, juice, and peel are used for medicine, pastries, desserts, and various products. Our lemons come from California and are harvested during different months depending on the weather. Our lemons come in several different varieties, including Lisbon and Eureka lemons. We offer many different products made with this commodity, such as lemon purees, lemon NFC juice, lemon concentrate juice, lemon Flavedo, lemon oil, lemon dried peels, lemon frozen peels, lemon pulp cells, lemonade beverage base, and lemon fiber powders.
Lemon Puree
Vita-Pakt lemon purees are a blend of concentrate made from freshly extracted lemon juice and lemon pulp cells. We also produce an all-natural lemon puree made from the various components of tree-ripened California lemons. They are blended to produce its individually identifiable flavor and texture profile. No oils, flavor enhancers, sugar or preservatives are added. These lemon purees are offered in single strength, double strength, and super strength.
For those needing a little more sweetness, we make a lemon sherbet puree with sugar, lemon oil and citric acid added to provide a unique flavor and aromatic quality.
We use Lisbon variety lemons to make our purees.
